This site was put together by me, Angie Curtis. I have no credentials in this field and can't claim to be an expert on anything. For me, it just seems like the most deliciously sensible way to be eating with profound implications for personal and environmental health.

After I made the decision to go Raw, I spent weeks looking for everything I could find on the subject and would have loved to have come across a site like this with everything I needed in one place.

There is a wealth of info in the USA and Europe but very little here in Africa. So this site is to help budding raw fooders on this side of the planet find local resources, hook up with like minded others, chat, and find links to local and overseas sites and articles on Raw food, Veganism and Natural Hygiene.

Learning about Raw Food has completely revolutionised my understanding of nutrition and how to prepare simple, tasty, healthy meals without cooking. It's a whole new way of understanding our bodies, a whole new way of putting food together - an ongoing learning curve in 'conscious eating'.
